Jacob Major, COTA/L
I am originally from Charlotte, North Carolina and received my Occupational Therapy Assistant degree from Cabarrus College of Health Sciences in North Carolina. I have been a practicing Occupational Therapy Practitioner going on three years, my specialty is pediatrics. My passion started as a camp counselor for children with chronic illnesses and disabilities. That passion drove me to make a career in the pediatric field, as I really enjoy watching others grow and become more confident as well as working alongside family members giving them and their children the tools necessary to set them up for success for now and for the future. I believe in perseverance and teamwork, without those two things, I wouldn’t be a successful therapist. I truly believe that working with your child and encouraging them to persevere as well as to work with the family and other therapy providers to give you all the tools necessary to help set your
child up for success. When I’m not at work I enjoy hiking, camping and exploring what Colorado
has to offer with my dog and Fiancé.
