How is STEP Therapy Pediatrics handling COVID-19?

As a pediatric clinic focused on serving our community, STEP Therapy Pediatrics is dedicated to the highest quality of family centered care. We continue to monitor the environment around the Coronavirus (Covid-19 Virus), we want to let you know the steps we are taking to minimize the risk of exposure to our team, children and families. Please read our Safe Operating Procedures for to help us establish safe and effective in-clinic therapy service delivery.

Is STEP Therapy Pediatrics offering in-clinic and telehealth services?

We are happy to be offering Telehealth and In-clinic Visits for all STEP Families! We will continue to provide Telehealth services after May 11, 2020 as long as your insurance provider will allow. We are offering a hybrid service delivery to continue to support social distancing and decreased staffing and census in the clinic spaces. Learn more about Telehealth HERE.​

How do I schedule a session?

Contact the Front Desk for scheduling. Each clinic location's front desk will be onsite to support your scheduling needs. Therapists will no longer be in charge of scheduling please do not contact them for scheduling requests. DTC Clinic Contact information

Is STEP Therapy Pediatrics accepting new patients?

We are still here to help in these uncertain times! Evaluations are availble via Telehealth or in the clinic. If you are a new referral, please follow our intake process to Get Help for Your Child.


What do STEP's Pediatric Speech Therapists address?

Our Pediatic Speech Therapists address: Expressive & Receptive Language - Building skills to help children increase their use and understanding of spoken and written language. Social Communication - Building social problem solving, communication, social use and understanding of language to increase a child’s ability to interact and build relationships with peers and adults. Speech Sound Production - Helping children increase their ability to correctly produce speech sounds.

Fluency - Building skills to increase a child’s ability to speak clearly and decrease moments of stuttering.

Cognition - Building executive function, working and short-term memory, as well as problem-solving skills.
